In Partnership with Mission to Revive (VHCC) we are helping new immigrants to Canada from all over the world, settle.
Through this partnership, we help new immigrants from all nations to:
1). Settle into their new community.
2) We share information about their community of settlement in Ontario and enlighten them about the important local services that they need and also can access.
3) We introduce newcomers to others with common interests and help build networks.
4) We seek donations of second-hand or new clothing and furniture that can help them settle into Canadian life.
5) We get them acquainted with some interesting Canadian fun, local sporting events and recreation places.
6) We teach them multiculturalism by learning about their culture and heritage and sharing our own and the community’s culture and heritage.
7) We seek to connect them with other local newcomer events.
8) Encourage others in our community to engage with them.
9) Contact a settlement organization near them to start welcoming them where necessary.
11) Connect them with local charities to learn how they can help.
12). Connect them with faith-based communities relevant to them.
